HydraFacial vs deep facial cleanse — which should you choose?
Two popular treatments with different goals. Here we help you decide which one fits your skin and your moment.

Both protocols are excellent, but they answer different needs. Here's the summary in five points.
What does each one do?
- HydraFacial combines cleansing, exfoliation, extraction and hydration using a machine with a vacuum tip and active serums. It's fast, comfortable and requires no downtime.
- Deep facial cleanse is a more thorough, hands-on protocol: diagnosis, double cleanse, enzymatic exfoliation, manual extraction, high frequency, a bespoke mask and massage.
For which skin type?
- HydraFacial is ideal for dehydrated, dull or sensitive skin that doesn't tolerate manual extraction well.
- The deep cleanse works best for combination or oily skin with comedones, where manual extraction makes the difference.
How often?
- HydraFacial: monthly, as maintenance.
- Deep cleanse: every 4–6 weeks depending on skin type.
What's the ideal combination?
Many clients alternate the two: a deep cleanse every 2 months + a HydraFacial in between for maintenance.
